About Windlume
Windlume is a small, hand-made study site: free practice for the SAT and the CLT, with original questions and a full explanation for every answer. It is meant to be opened, practiced on, and closed — nothing else.
What it is
- Static pages of practice questions — Math, Reading & Writing, Verbal Reasoning, Grammar & Writing, and Quantitative Reasoning.
- Every question and explanation was written by hand and is stored as plain text inside the page. Nothing is generated at the moment you read it.
- Free, with no sign-up. Progress is kept only in your own browser's local storage, on your own device, and is never sent anywhere.
- Hosted on Cloudflare Pages as plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript files.
What it is not
- Not an AI tool. No chatbot, no language-model or generative features, and no calls to any external service. There is no server-side code or database at all.
- No accounts. No login, registration, passwords, or user profiles.
- No uploads, forms, or comments. The site cannot receive anything you type.
- No advertising and no third-party scripts. Every file the site loads is served from its own domain — no CDNs, no ad networks, no trackers, no external analytics vendors. The site makes no requests to any other website.
- No links to external generators or chatbot sites, and no content copied from official test makers.
Why it exists
It was built for one student preparing for the SAT, the CLT and Florida's FAST assessments, as a quiet place to drill the parts that are easy to get wrong — and then to read exactly why. If it is useful to someone else, that is a happy side effect.
Practice sections
- SAT practice — Math, Reading, Writing, and a full-length test section
- CLT practice — Verbal Reasoning, Grammar & Writing, Quantitative Reasoning
